This product has passed its Best Before End (BBE) date of 12/2017 and is now being sold at a heavy discount. Dried yeasts have a very long shelf life and the listed BBE is really only used to indicate the end of peak viability. Good yeast care (proper wort aeration, good nutrition and avoiding under-pitching for batch size or beer strength) should more than compensate, as these yeasts have been stored under ideal conditions.
Originating from the Hürlimann brewery in Switzerland. This lager strain’s attenuation profile allows to brew fairly neutral flavour beers with a high drinkability.
